Practical Mental Poker Without a TTP Based on Homomorphic Encryption
نویسندگان
چکیده
A solution for obtaining impartial random values in on-line gambling is presented in this paper. Unlike most previous proposals, our method does not require any TTP and allows e-gambling to reach standards of fairness, security an auditability similar to those common in physical gambling. Although our solution is detailed here for the particular case of games with reversed cards (e.g. poker), it can be easily adapted for games with open cards (e.g. blackjack) and for random draw games (e.g. keno). Thanks to the use of permutations of homomorphically encrypted cards, the protocols described have moderate computational requirements.

Dropout-Tolerant TTP-Free Mental Poker
There is a broad literature on distributed card games over communications networks, collectively known as mental poker. Like in any distributed protocol, avoiding the need for a Trusted Third Party (TTP) in mental poker is highly desirable, because really trusted TTPs are not always available and seldom free. This paper deals with the player dropout problem in mental poker without a TTP. A solu...
متن کاملComparative Evaluation of Elliptic Curve Cryptography Based Homomorphic Encryption Schemes for a Novel Secure Multiparty Computation
In this paper, we focus on Elliptic Curve Cryptography based approach for Secure Multiparty Computation (SMC) problem. Widespread proliferation of data and the growth of communication technologies have enabled collaborative computations among parties in distributed scenario. Preserving privacy of data owned by parties is crucial in such scenarios. Classical approach to SMC is to perform computa...
متن کاملA Secure Mental Poker Protocol Over The Internet
An efficient and secure mental poker scheme is proposed in this paper. It is based on multiple encryption and decryption of individual cards. The protocol satisfies all major security requirements of a real mental poker. It gets rid of the Card Salesman and guarantees minimal effect due to collusion of players. The protocol is secure and more efficient compared with other known protocols. The s...
متن کاملMulti-integer Somewhat Homomorphic Encryption Scheme with China Remainder Theorem
As an effective solution to protect the privacy of the data, homomorphic encryption has become a hot research topic. Existing homomorphic schemes are not truly practical due to their high computational complexity and huge key size. In 2013, Coron et al. proposed a batch homomorphic encryption scheme, i.e. a scheme that supports encrypting and homomorphically evaluating several plaintext bits as...
متن کاملPractical Fully Homomorphic Encryption without Noise Reduction
We present a new fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) scheme that is efficient for practical applications. The main feature of our scheme is that noise reduction considered essential in current FHE schemes, such as boot strapping and modulus switching, is not needed in our scheme, because it allows arbitrarily large noises in its ciphertexts. A ciphertext in our scheme is a vector with its dimens...
